- Meet with your ESO and let them know you want a certification listed at www.vets2pm.com/training/.

14 Days Prior
- Request approval no less than 14 days prior to the training start date for your educational goal in MyCG Ed Portal https://myeducation.netc.navy.mil/
- Wait for authorization from ETQC
- NOTE: If requesting books, simulators, exam fees (ETQC recommends waiting to fund the exam fee), etc. use the grand total, you will itemize later on on the OF-1164.

Purchase Training
- Go to www.vets2pm.com/training/ and research the credential you want.
- Add the course and simulator (as applicable) to the cart, select credit card and pay.
- Please use a civilian email address as .mil servers usually prevent delivery of critical messages.
- ETQC requests you wait until you are ready for the test before you pay for the exam.
- Fill out Billing Details section, place order, and download your receipt.

Reimbursement
- Once the course is paid for, return to the authorized application in MyCG Ed portal and view/print Official Form (OF)-1164.
- If requesting multiple fees, choose one of the “Credentialing Fee Types” and then enter the total amount of all associated fees in the “Requested Fees” section for the one credential. The OF-1164 must reflect all requested fees, with valid receipts.
- Application must be approved by ESO and ETQC. Status may be tracked in MyCG Ed portal under “Review Applications”.
- Fill in dates, types of fees, associated costs and digitally sign the OF-1164.
- Upload the signed OF-1164 with valid receipt(s) as one document in MyCG Ed or email to ETQC-SMB-CGCOOL@uscg.mil for reimbursement.

Train and Report
- Take the training, fund the exam when ready to test, then report your results to MyCG Ed Portal within 30 days of earning your credential
